What I especially love about this moment is that Spock doesn’t know exactly what’s going on with this human interaction, and probably doesn’t know what “burning ears” refers to either. I feel like usually when he’s confused about some human interaction, he’d ask a human that he’s familiar and comfortable with, and really that’s probably just Nyota and Jim, and he really can’t ask them. Can’t you just imagine him trying to ask Bones to explain what’s going on?
